6 x 2017 Oparina Padthaway Cabernet Shiraz
Winemaking
Parcels of fruit were selected from our top producing Shiraz and Cabernet blocks and carefully handpicked before crushing into open fermenters. The use of 100% natural ferments has enhanced the flavours to create a unique combination of these two varieties. Fruit was basket pressed and matured in new French Oak for 18 months before bottling.
Tasting Notes
A full bodied yet fresh and vibrant wine, with round mouth-feel and firm tight finish.
Showing mulberry, dark chocolate aromas, with a touch of dried sage, this wine is perfect right now and will only improve with cellaring.
